I am about to have another Botox treatment under general anaesthetic (my fourth). The Botox lasts about 5 months and my voice returns to almost normal for that time. Unfortunately Botox wears off and has to be repeated. Anyone else with similar experience?
I've tried hyalauronic acid injections but these too wear off... Have you tried speech therapy combined with good reflux medication (particularly Gaviscon Advance)? Who operated on you? Admittedly mine is a laryngeal granuloma plus scarring so we are a bit different but I imagine keeping the vocal folds as pliable as possible is good for sulcus (therefore good vocal exercises coupled with good vocal hygiene and reflux control may help?)
