Echo RA voice amplifier

Hello all

Has anyone used or tried the Echo RA voice amplfier?

I am waiting for a trial one from the hospital before I shell out £250 to buy one (I am hoping work will contribute!!!)

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

If so, I would not recommend it personally. However, if this is a new (and hopefully better) system, please do let us know how good it is (good points, bad points as in review link above) and we can add it to our voice equipment review section on lary.org.uk

I think this might be the Echo RA to which you refer: http://www.soundfields.co.uk/echo-ra.asp (if so, this looks like a portable speaker system rather than a speaker you wear and in my experience these portable speaker systems provide better application than anything worn on the body).

I would certainly try before buying in any event.

Work should certainly pay: Equalities Act 2010 - duty to make reasonable adjustments for a disability - or Health and Safety at Work law, however you want to justify it.
