I am glad that we have a facebook group, and I personally have joined it, and I am encouraging my friends and family to join. But at the moment there isn't really anything on there. I know it's difficult as it takes time which people don't necessarily have, but if we want to spread the word then there needs to be something for people to look at!

I don't mean to criticise, I just think this website is brilliant and it has helped me a hell of a lot, and I want to help get it out there so more people are aware of the group. If I can help just 1 person get support if they are ever in a similar situation to my own, then I will be proud.

hi,good on you Becky!i have sd and im now in my 50s,ive had it for over 20yrs.In those days they stuck a spatula down my throat,and said i was fine!now at last its got a name and a possible treatment.im going for my first injections on 11th nov,at queens medical centre nottingham.wish me luck!i hope it helps,after so many years any slight improvement is welcome.
