The area under my chin feels a bit sore today as we were 'relaxing' it by pressing our thumbs up into into it a lot and I may have just got a bit over enthusiastic. Did he get a chance to feel you neck before you left? I think Terry said he would try to get him back in September. I think the next meeting is planned for the end of July, not too sure if I can make that one yet as it is close to our holiday, but hopefully I can persuade my husband to grant me a day pass.
We had friends over for a meal last night so after more talking and a late night, today was a much appreciated voice rest day.

Yes I am fine, but voice not as good as on Saturday. I am religiously doing Sara's exercises but the effect only seems to last for a short while. I keep trying to remember that we are training tiny muscles, so it will take time !!

ON the DLA, I think it's definitely worth another go claiming and I'm more than happy to help (my background is benefits advice work) - I've done a quick google search but there doesn't seem to be any case law about voice and DLA so you could be a trailblazer! ideally it would be better if we meet to go through the form. Could you contact DWP and request a form? they'll then date stamp it so when/if you get the benefit it'll be backdated. Are you in London at all in the next few weeks? I work at Kings Cross, usually in the office 3 days/week so could meet up, otherwise we could do it online via the sites chat function. In the meantime I'll start doing some proper research xxx

You can contact PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) if you want to complain. The Health Care Trust should provide an explanation for declining funding. Maybe we can do something.
