Post nasal drip and voice problems.
If you have a chronic sore throat and hoarse voice, have you ever thought of post nasal drip (dripping of mucous and collection of mucous at back of throat?). Here are some useful links:

I suffer with this virtually all the time as part of my Behcet's Disease. I wake up every day with a sore throat and a hoarse voice. The dryness caused by my Sjogren's also adds to the problem and makes swallowing so difficult sometimes.
