Vocal Op Vlog's and other updates

Hello all,

I have just got around to adding all my blogs pre and post op. I hope you enjoy them. They are a very honest 'warts and all' account of my experience. I will be adding more videos in the coming weeks including: Filming of my rehab seessions at Northwick Park hospital with Claire Wells and my own advice and tips on voice care and exercises I have found helpful both as a patient and vocal teacher, this will include Accent Method.

I have also just written an article for The British Voice Association which is coming out in December and another one for 'M' Magazine which is PRS's magazine and goes out to thousands of people in the music industry. It is on my vocal op and my forthcoming solo album release.

I have mentioned The Larry Project so hopefully it will raise some awareness for the website!

Comment by Janet Taplin on September 16, 2010 at 10:25: Sophie, I have just watched your blogettes and I think they are great, you have captured the trepidation and fear of facing surgery and the frustration of not being able to talk so well. I totally empathise with your feelings about talking in blog No 10, I think most of us here have been in that place.
I hope the fact you have a forthcoming album means that the surgery has been a total success, I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I'm so pleased that your voice has "recovered" and look forward to hearing that you have fully recovered your singing voice........I can empathise in particular with the fear of not being able to sing again, that's the one thing I still grieve for in my own personal journey.
