Week 5 - 12/05/2009

I appear to have something resembling a voice more often than I don’t these days, but I now feel I can sympathise with teenage boys when their voice breaks, as I am never sure what my voice will sound like when I
start to talk, sometimes it is low and gravely and other times it is high and
whispery. It is at it’s best at the start of the day and by the evening, I just
get quieter and start to ‘fade’ mid sentence. I guess the muscles controlling
the movements are still easily fatigued, and need to build up their stamina.

I am still unable to shout or raise my voice and it still takes more breath than it should to say anything, but it is improving, as thankfully is the breathing, I have finally made it home from school without
out stopping, I won’t win any races at the pace I walked but I will work on
that next week with lots of visits to the gym.J
